The popular She Is Fierce! event ‘Women’s Wednesday’ is back on June 15th at The Treasury on the Plaza featuring North Florida-based Amelia Toffee Founder Anita Comisky.
Well-known across North Florida as the ultimate women’s gathering of the summer, Women’s Wednesdays is presented by two local organizations with fierce women in leadership, Bozard Lincoln Black Label and Flagler Health+.
Anita Comisky will be sharing her personal story of building a national brand after retiring from her first career as a business consultant and then selling her for-profit business to her favorite non-profit, Rethread.ed. She will share her story of passion, grit, and reinvention – and what it means to build a legacy that will live on, continuing to make a difference for women for years to come.
As a part of the Rethreaded portfolio of products, Amelia Toffee sales now help em.ploy and uplift survivors of sex trafficking.
Anita’s story will inspire the audience to be.lieve that you can achieve anything, and it’s never too late to get started.
Immediately following her talk, three local “Fierce Changemakers” will join Anita on stage for a conversation on stepping out of your comfort zone and following your purpose. The public is invited to nominate a Fierce Changemaker in the North Florida area who they believe deserves a chance to share their story and inspire others on stage.
Doors open at 5:30pm and Anita will begin at 6:15pm. General Admission tickets are $25 and VIP Tickets are $45 that include VIP seating, a drink pass and hors d’oeuvres.
