Local Print Shop Can Make It A Reality
By Kara Pound
With a brand new location on South Dixie Highway, Tom Brock’s Imagine Fine Art Printing has become the go-to locale for fine art printing services for artists, businesses and photographers.
Established in September of 2011, the new, bright and airy, 1,500-square-foot space features two glass garage doors in the front and is perfect for poring over the details of custom color correction for family photographs, professional gicles and canvas gallery wraps.
“I owned a commercial photo lab in Colorado for 18 years before moving to St. Augustine in 2010,” explains Brock. “I saw the writing on the wall when photography started going digital and Imagine Fine Art Printing is an evolution of that. But a much more laid-back version.”
Brock works directly with a slew of local artists and photographers like Sarah Annay, Sean Kelly Conway, Wendy Tatter, Vaughn Cochran and D. Sven Lindauer to create exhibition-ready work for gallery showings and sales.
It’s the personal relationships that he’s built that helped spur the change of location. “I like to work one-on-one with people to achieve exactly what they’re looking for,” says Brock. “Instead of relying on Internet sales, I realized that a brick and mortar storefront was essential for this.”
