Though they have been open since mid-November, Dina – The Real Italian Piadina, will be hosting their grand opening Saturday, December 10th from 3-6pm. Right across the street from the Colombia at 100 St. George Street Suite J, Dina is here to cure your Italian cravings.
Their signature dish is right in the name. The Piadina, which is a thin handmade Italian flatbread filled with meats, cheeses, and fresh vegetables. To make this delicious food even better, co-owner of Dina, Stefano Braganti, says, “We take pride in the quality of our ingredients and source as much of our vegetables from sustainable growers in North Florida. We import our cured meats and cheeses from the best Italian producers and hand-select our smoked fish from right here in St. Augustine.”
Braganti, along with co-owners and friends Andrea Maccario, Hezi Mena, and Luca Bonfante, believe in the RO5 – the ‘Rule of Five.’ Everything they make in the restaurant is made of five ingredients or less. Something everyone can appreciate.
Dina’s signature piadinas like the Maialina, stuffed with mozzarella, Mortadella, eggplant, and truffle oil, or the Dina, created with Stracchino cheese, Prosciutto, fresh arugula, and balsamic glaze, are to just enough to make anyone’s mouth water. Along with homemade deserts like Tiramisu and Coffee Semifreddo, round off this genuine Italian meal with their selection of Italian wine, beer, and sodas.
The restaurant is open Sunday through Thursday, 11am-9pm. and Friday and Saturday, 11am-10pm. And Dina will also be offering a 10% discount for locals and two weekly $25 gift card giveaways for loyal customers. For information call 904-826-3535 or visit eatdina.com.
