Why I Chose Villages Soccer Program at Palencia for My Daughter

It’s that time of year again…. St. Augustine Social Moms and Dads are headed to the courts, the fields, and the gym for all things athletic! If you are wondering where to get started, that’s where I was just two years ago! I decided on Villages Soccer because it offered all the coaching and development of competitor leagues, but commits to ONE Wednesday practice and ONE Saturday morning game…all in the comfort of ONE home field at Palencia. The coaches are knowledgeable, caring, and experienced… and they have made this season all about having FUN while learning valuable fundamental skills.

The format is simple: First, pay a small fee upon registration (returning players enjoy a discount since they already have their uniforms).  Second, show up on Wednesday evening at the Palencia Field for a structured practice including a variety of drills, scrimmage and bonding with Coaches.   Then, show up for Saturday games and pick your seat among a welcoming group of parents to see your kids do their best!

Don’t forget to sign up for the weekly snack rotation with the Snack Mom (okay, it’s me) and sit back and photograph all of those sweet moments of your kiddo chasing the ball, making friends, learning sportsmanship, and just getting ACTIVE! I love it..  You can follow Villages Soccer on Facebook HERE, visit their website HERE, or e-mail them directly with questions at vaasoccer@gmail.com
