Some St. Augustine traditions are measured in years. Others are measured in generations. For a century, the Garden Club of St. Augustine has been planting seeds of beauty, conservation and community throughout the city. Now, as the organization celebrates its 100-Year Jubilee, it’s inviting residents and visitors to celebrate the season with two holiday events that showcase the creativity, craftsmanship, and traditions that have blossomed over the past 100 years.
The holiday celebration begins with the debut of the Garden Club’s Holiday Craft & Garden Market on Friday, November 6, and Saturday, November 7, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Garden Club Clubhouse on Old Moultrie Road, admission is free. Replacing the traditional Tea & Boutique, the free market will offer a new holiday experience for the community, with handmade crafts, seasonal plants, floral arrangements, baked goods, and garden-inspired gifts.
Visitors can browse unique seasonal finds and handcrafted treasures while searching for one-of-a-kind pieces to bring home or share with loved ones. With its mix of creativity and seasonal charm, the market offers a new way to experience the Garden Club’s longstanding dedication to artistry and community.
The 55th Annual Holiday Tour of Homes returns on Sunday, December 13, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., inviting guests to take a self-guided walking tour through six beautifully decorated homes throughout St. Augustine’s historic downtown district.
Each home offers a glimpse into the unique architecture and character of St. Augustine, from a grand waterfront Mediterranean Revival residence to a charming lakeside cottage. During the tour, Garden Club members will transform each space with fresh greenery, live floral arrangements, and festive décor, blending the city’s historic charm with the warmth of the holiday season.
Beyond showcasing beautiful spaces, the Holiday Tour of Homes celebrates the creativity and craftsmanship that have long been at the heart of the Garden Club’s mission. Guests will experience the organization’s passion for floral design and seasonal decorating while exploring some of St. Augustine’s most distinctive residences.
Digital-only tickets for the Holiday Tour of Homes are $50 and will be available beginning October 1 here. Due to the popularity of previous tours, tickets have historically sold quickly.
Proceeds from both events support the Garden Club of St. Augustine’s beautification, conservation and educational programs throughout the community. After 100 years of service, the organization continues to inspire future generations while helping preserve the natural beauty and character of St. Augustine.
