Shop Full Moon Sales on San Marco

July 28, 2015 | Sarah Kathleen

A full moon is coming Friday, July 31. And it’s not just any full moon, it’s a blue moon. Although blue moons aren’t actually blue in color, a blue moon is a rare occurrence where a second full moon happens within a calendar month. (In case you missed the first full moon, it happened on July 2). In honor of the occasion, several shops on San Marco are staying open later than usual and celebrating with a Blue Moon Sale taking place from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

It’s a total #GIRLBOSS party that makes a great date night, and an opportunity to mix, mingle and shop local on a Friday evening, following a long work week. Come right after work for happy hour shopping, or make it an after-dinner excursion.

MAGNOLIA SUPPLY
58 San Marco Avenue

Magnolia Supply’s sale includes 15% off everything in the store, and 50% off sale items. There will be Blue Moon cocktails, food by Juniper Market, a braid bar by Philosophie Salon & Apothecary, and music by Aslyn and the Naysayers.

If you aren’t already familiar with Magnolia Supply, this Blue Moon event makes a prime opportunity for an overdue introduction. If you’re already a frequent shopper, there are new pieces in stock that have your name on them.

Shop These Looks…

If you have a wedding, gala, or other social event coming up, or are simply feeling the urge to add a new party dress to your collection, these “party dresses” are a perfect fit.

WEST TO EAST
77 San Marco Avenue

Across the street, West to East is offering 30% off all artwork, 20% off all furniture, and 10% off already discounted items. While you shop, sip on adult beverages, chow down on pizza, and get temporary airbrush tattoos by Heather’s Living Art.

Shop These Pieces…

Check out some of West to East’s new pieces in stock, including this 27″ Round Coco Bead Chandelier in cornflower blue.

Paying homage to a widespread form of folk art called Tramp Art that blossomed in America from 1870 to 1930, these two new pieces (cabinet and mirror) are vintage reproductions of this particular art style.

Even More Sales…

DHD Home has also joined the shopping party, offering 15-25% off a stocked full store of home furniture and decor. Spanish Dutch Convoy Leather Goods & Bags is offering sales, giveaways, beverages, and chair massages throughout the evening.
