Shadow Play Exhibition at Butterfield Garage Art Gallery

October 11, 2014 | victorxray

If you attended the Love Your Mother Eco Fashion Show last month you got to see a glimpse of the creativity of Laura O’Neal, local mixed media artist.  This month her forest inspired eco fashions take on a different shape in a fairy-tale inspired show at Butterfield Garage Art Gallery with ceramist, Jerry Peters.  The exhibition invites viewers to appreciate the natural elements of twigs and branches as well as light and shadows playing off one another as one would experience in the middle of a forest. Juxtaposed with amped-up colors, this show has all the drama of an enchanted forest.

Perry and O’Neal are joined by the interesting illuminations of Alex Dompe. His Illuminated Decorative Art Objects debut at this show as they create the perfect light and shadow backdrop for a special, interactive, performance art, supplement to this show.

An inspiring installation and welcome to the fall season.  The Exhibit runs until November 4, 2014.  For more information visit Butterfield Garage Art Gallery online here.
