SHARING ST. AUGUSTINE’S SEAFOOD STORY
St. Augustine Seafood Company in St. Augustine believes in honoring and supporting the rich fishing heritage of our Nation’s oldest port. They hope to share with you the story of St. Augustine’s proud fishing legacy by showcasing the people and history behind the rise of America’s shrimp boat city. Vintage photographs, old shrimp packaging, antique tools in display cases, and works by native photographer Sean Kelly Conway are all on display in the casual restaurant. And since they serve fresh seafood, nearly always sourced from local fishermen in Mayport, you’ll almost feel like a part of the history that’s on the walls.
This fast casual and family-friendly seafood restaurant is located in the heart of downtown St. Augustine, right on St. George Street. On their menu you’ll find both classic and creative preparations of uber fresh seafood. Dig into the Chowder Fries, french fries smothered in clam chowder & bacon, or sip a spoonful of Minorcan Conch and New England Clam chowders. Place an order for the Fish & Chips Burrito or the Anchor Burger (topped with fried shrimp and datil-buffalo sauce). You can even just opt for a classic basket of shrimp, oysters, or fish.
If you’re looking for a different feel than just the casual seafood restaurant, you can step through the door to the bar & lounge. The St. Augustine Seafood Company’s Bar & Lounge is a place to escape from the hustle and bustle of St. George Street. Enjoy this intimate space with a cold beer, tried and true cocktails, and fresh seafood all while listening to live music at Colonial Oak Music Park. So take a seat in the bright white and blue dining room or slide into an emerald green booth in the lounge and experience seafood like St. George Street has never seen.
