Come enjoy the beautiful St. Augustine scenery with family and friends by participating in the 3rd Annual Palencia Elementary Pirate 5K & Family Fun Run.
The 5K event will take place on January 14 at 8:00 am and the one-mile Family Fun Run begins immediately after the 5K race at 9am at the Palencia Club. The participants can go at their own speed whether it is walking, running, or racing the 5K. This event is hosted by the Palencia Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization, which is a non-profit organization. This year’s run is sponsored by Bozard Ford and Contoura Facial Plastic Surgery.
The entry fees for the 5K is $35 and the one-mile fun run is $15. Free parking will be provided. The proceeds for this event will benefit the building of a Physical Education Court sunshade for the students at Palencia Elementary School. Those who participate in the event will receive a t-shirt.
You can register for this event at Packet-Pick-Up from 11am-6pm on Friday, January 13 at the Palencia Club, which is located at 600 Palencia Club Drive. Walk-up registration will also be available from 6:30-7:30am on Saturday before the event begins.
Top finishers will receive medals for males and females in each age category for the 5K and finisher medals will be given to participants of the Family Fun Run.
