Fall is finally here, and that means pumpkin everything! That’s right, folks, it’s time to crank out those carving tools and fully embrace the season by picking out the perfect, plump pumpkin and creating a work of art that you can display all month long. Luckily for us, there are multiple pumpkin patches for you to wander through until you find one that seems to be calling your name! And let’s be honest, we all know there’s nothing better than enjoying some delicious roasted pumpkin seeds after hollowing out the seasonal squash. But if you’re looking for more ways than one to enjoy the season then have no fear; there are plenty of festivities taking place around town for you to get your fall-fix. From pumpkin patches, corn mazes, sunflower fields, hayrides, and more, you’ll be feeling festive all season long! So whether you’re just in search of some Jack-O-Lantern supplies, or you’re trying to make a full-day of the festivities, we’ve got you covered.
First United Methodist Church
118 King Street St.
The First United Methodist church offers pumpkins of all sizes and prices at their downtown location on the corner of King St. and Riberia. The pumpkins go on sale on Thursday, October 3, 2019. Hours for purcahse are 10 am to 7 pm daily. Additionally, a special Trunk or Treat event will be held at the Church on Wednesday, October 23, from 5-7 pm. This is a family-friendly, free event.
River of Life United Methodist Church
2600 Race Track Road
The River of Life United Methodist Church will have pumpkins available for you throughout the month of October, beginning on October 1st. A portion of the proceeds from pumpkin patch sales will go toward benefits for the Florida United Methodist Children’s Home and other ministries in the church each year. The pumpkin patch is open for visitors from 10am-12pm and 2-8pm on weekdays; 10am-8pm on Saturdays; and 11am-8pm on Sundays.
Shores United Methodist Church
724 Shores Blvd.
Pumpkins will be available for purchase at Shores United Methodist Church following service on Sunday, October 5. The patch will then be open daily from 12-7pm on Saturdays and Sundays, and 2-7pm Mondays through Fridays throughout the month of October. The Church will also hold its Fall Festival, featuring children’s games, a bounce house, food, and live music, in addition to the pumpkin patch, on Saturday, October 19, from 3-5pm. There will be also be a Trunk or Treat event on Thursday, October 31, from 5-7pm. These events are free and open to the public.

Enjoy the Cowart Farms Maze Dayze from October 5 through November 3, offering a corn maze, pumpkin and sunflower patch, hayrides, games, activities and more. Take a drive and get lost walking through the maze or enjoy a hayride with your family before packing your car full of pumpkins! Hours for this season-long event are Fridays, 6-10pm, Saturdays 10am-9pm, and Sundays 11am-7pm.

Sykes Family Farm is bringing you fall festivities all month long. Get in the mood this holiday season by wandering throughout their 9-acre maze! Enjoy games, hayrides and other activities for a full day of fun. Take the short drive West and enjoy all that this family farm has to offer. Hours are Fridays, 6-10pm, Saturdays 10am-10pm, and Sundays 10am-5pm.
