The African savannah comes to life with Simba, Rafiki, Nala, and all your favorite characters as they journey from Pride Rock into the jungle and back again on a harrowing, unforgettable adventure. This is a classic and inspiring coming-of-age tale and you can be a part of it!
Apex Theatre Studio is excited to announce auditions for its upcoming production of The Lion King, Jr. on Sunday, December 11 from 12 – 4pm. Auditions will take place at the Apex Theatre in Ponte Vedra. Performances are scheduled for April 28 and 29 at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall.
All roles are open and available to performers ages 8 – 15. Those auditioning should come prepared with 16 bars of a vocal selection from the show. In addition to a movement audition, there will be cold readings from the script. A headshot and resume are preferable but not required. Each applicant should bring a list of conflicts for the rehearsal period (January to April).
