Held the last Saturday of every month, Uptown Saturday brings extra energy to the already bustling San Marco shopping district. This weekend promises to bring even more excitement to San Marco with the official opening of two establishments—Declaration & Co. The Marketplace, and West to East.
MEET ME AT THE MARKET
Declaration & Co. The Marketplace officially opens its doors tomorrow, in its freshly renovated home at 63 San Marco. If you’ve passed by the space in recent weeks, you’ve probably noticed window displays in place. And if you’ve followed along with Declaration’s Facebook Page updates, chances are you’ve seen inticing visual teasers of the interior setup, like this one.
Come tomorrow, you can put your curiosity to rest and step inside to explore every square inch of the new space, including Mister George’s Candy Corner. The shop officially opens its doors at 11 a.m. tomorrow (Friday), kicking off a full weekend of grand opening fun.
“I’m so excited for everyone to see the new space and all of our new merchandise,” said owner Lara Kocerka. “We will be celebrating all weekend with treats, giveaways and prizes with every purchase. It will be a fun weekend.”

They too, have been posting visual teasers of their shop as they’ve been putting each and every detail in place, and moving toward their official opening. Last week, the shop celebrated with a grand opening party, welcoming the community inside for a sneak peek. This weekend, they are officially in business. Doors open tomorrow (Friday) at 11 a.m.
Normal store hours will be Tuesday – Saturday, 11 a.m. – 6 p.m., and Sunday, 12 p.m. – 4 p.m. (closed on Mondays).
