Located along A1A just a short drive north of Vilano Beach, the park has long served as a gateway to one of St. Johns County’s most scenic stretches of shoreline. Following a full redesign completed in early 2026, visitors are greeted with an upgraded experience that balances recreation with environmental preservation.
The renovation introduces a range of improvements aimed at enhancing both convenience and safety. Expanded parking now accommodates more than 100 vehicles- an increase of roughly 20 spaces- while a new one-way circulation pattern improves traffic flow and reduces congestion during peak beach days. Newly constructed restroom facilities and a dedicated changing area provide added comfort for beachgoers, while upgraded drainage systems help mitigate flooding and protect the surrounding landscape.
Families, in particular, will notice a renewed focus on usability. A shaded playground and pavilion now serve as a central gathering space, offering relief from the Florida sun and creating a more welcoming environment for children and group outings.
