Sometimes there’s nothing like a woman’s touch to make something ordinary, utterly and completely extraordinary – and sometimes this applies to church too. That’s why we love Woven Nights, an annual women’s worship night hosted by the women at Colonial Church for women who live in and around St. Augustine, FL. It’s a little bit of worship music, a little bit of preaching and a lot of fellowship between mothers, daughters, sisters and friends and all for the Glory of God.
Here’s what you can expect…
Though it’s happening on two nights, it’s a one night event – Thursday, November 7th (sold out) or Friday, November 8th from 6pm to 10pm at Colonial Church, 550 SR 207. So, pick which day is best for your schedule, gather some girlfriends and put it on your calendar. The event is free to attend, but bring your purse because there are always a host of goodies and swag to shop.
Warm up your singing voice and come prepared to praise his name. The music at Woven Nights is spirit-filled and led by some amazing local worship leaders and musicians.
Bring your Bible and a pen because the message (which is typically given by Co-Pastor at Colonial Church, Jill McCloghry) will be given by Pastor Julie Davidson and will surely inspire a lot of note taking. When the Word is spoken into the life of one woman from another, it’s packs a different punch, one that resonates because you can relate to the messenger. Both Jill and Julie have dedicated their lives to serving God and humbly sharing Christ with the people around them and you’ll get a glimpse of that at Woven.
Bring your friends. You don’t need a wing-woman at this event, but it’s likely there is a woman in your life that would benefit by being surrounded by the Spirit of God in a place filled with women who are just like her. We are all in this together and fellowship is at the heart of our faith. If you do come alone, you’ll leave with friends, I promise.
