The Casa Monica is currently undergoing renovations and adding The Kessler Collection’s Signature Spa: Poseidon Spa, offering ocean inspired healing treatments, at their Downtown St. Augustine Hotel. Turns out when Ponce de Leon set foot on St. Augustine soil in search of the Fountain of Youth…. he was about 501 years too early. The 3,000 sq. ft. Poseidon Spa at Casa Monica will feature unique ‘Fountain of Youth’ services featuring botanical, results driven products rich in antioxidants and peptides to brighten, soften and heal the skin. Its design is reminiscent of a moroccan villa with sweeping arches and intimate spaces. Vacation or staycation… this is the attraction to visit!
There will be three multipurpose rooms for facial, body and massage, one couples room, two pedicure thrones, two manicure stations and a hair and make up station to serve bridal parties and formal events. A beautiful retail boutique welcomes guests before they are invited to slip into a robe and slippers and relax in our Quiet room. Services will include traditional massage, facials, jewels of the sea body treatments, nail services, hair services and pool side cabana and in room experiences.
The official grand opening to the public is November 20, 2014. We anticipate this new relaxation watering hole will attract savvy spa goers and seekers-of-zen like a moth to the flame, so if you want to book an appointment, better do it early.
