Summer starts in St. Augustine on Wednesday June 10 with the return of free outdoor movies to downtown. Ripley’s and the City of St. Augustine have teamed up again this year to host Movies By the Bay, a film series that takes place near the St. Augustine Municipal Marina and the downtown miniature golf course, next to the Bridge of Lions.

Guests can bring chairs and blankets for seating, and picnic food is welcome. Alcohol is prohibited.

Complimentary shuttles will be offered by the Red Trains nightly beginning at 7:30 p.m. from the Red Train stop at the Visitors Information Center (in front of the parking garage), 10 Castillo Drive. Trolleys will pick up approximately every 20 minutes and return after the film.

Movies begin at 8:30 p.m. every Wednesday, from June 10 through Aug. 5. All movies are rated PG.

The finale on Aug. 5 will feature a Back to School Superhero party with characters. Moviegoers can come dressed as superheroes, too!

Admission is FREE. Stay updated at www.facebook.com/saintaugustineripleys
