Mark Your Calendar: The Vault at The Treasury’s Grand Opening Party is Thursday March 3rd

Nestled inside of The Treasury on the Plaza, The Vault at The Treasury is the latest addition to downtown’s repertoire of watering holes. This Thursday, March 3rd, the doors open at 5:00 pm for their Grand Opening.

In case you’re not familiar with The Treasury, it’s a wedding and events venue housed inside of St. Augustine’s six-story “skyscraper” on Cathedral Place. The building, which has housed various banking institutions since 1928, is still equipped with a large vault that’s now home to The Vault’s bar. Step through the towering vault door to order your bank themed cocktail from their full bar. Definitely Instagram-worthy — even for the locals.

Every Thursday and many Wednesdays (view the full schedule on their website) the doors open at 5pm as guests step back in time into the transformed grand ballroom. A variety of seating is available in the classic and comfortable lounge area. Take a seat at one of the leather sectionals, high tops, short cocktail tables, or sashay your way to the marble dance floor after 6pm. The music at The Vault is a showcase of the ‘American Standards,’ expect covers from some of the greats: Frank Sinatra, Louis Armstrong, Etta James and others.
