Celebrate this summer in style at the Lightner Museum, where cocktails will be flowing freely starting July 28th, 2016 from 5-7pm and will continue weekly on Thursday evenings. Lightner After Hours will be featuring beverages and hors d’ oeuvres from the Cafe Alcazar located in the grand ballroom area of the Lightner Museum. After happy hour, enjoy specialty dinner selections from Café Alcazar, located in the Historic Pool area of the museum from 6-8pm.
Step back in time and relive the gilded age with breathtaking architecture in the grand ballroom at the Lightner Museum while sipping on contemporary cocktails and enjoying live music from local musicians scheduled to perform. This is only the beginning for the Lightner After Hours, as the museum hopes to bring a contemporary feel to this glamorously historic treasure. The Lightner hopes to bring a broad range of musicians into the space and inspiring guests to create their own experiences through social media challenges and other interactive activities. Plus, free parking after 5pm!
