Island Prep preschool has expanded and will be continuing education into the third grade. “My background in Elementary education,” says founder Dani Gwiazda, “has always driven me to want to expand grades beyond our preschool. It has been a dream of mine for years to have a primary school that focuses on nurturing children’s natural curiosity to enrich their educational experience without the stress of standardized tests. This dream is finally coming true.”
Island Prep, which has been well known for its exceptional preschool program, is continuing to expand to incorporate a primary school program for parents who are not yet ready for the stresses of teaching to the test. Children will learn in an environment that feels like home, where they can feel confident, safe and loved. This environment rich in hands-on learning, outside of the box problem solving and creative subject matter will be the foundation for a student who exceeds not out of necessity but out of a desire to gain knowledge. Island Prep is forging ahead in the quest for a better way of educating children in a system that for many parents is lacking.
