This Veteran’s Day weekend will be playing host to the area’s newest vibrant art event. Take this opportunity to allow yourself a delightful weekend or just a delicious date night at Omni Amelia Island Resort where guests will enjoy the finest of brilliant local artists and homegrown cuisine in a luxurious and relaxing environment. The weekend is the first of its kind, but with definite plans to make this an annual event.
In partnership with the Cummer Art Museum and Gardens, Omni Resort will offer an immersive experience where visual arts, creative cocktails and culinary explorations come together in a luxurious coastal setting. This vibrant fusion is a can’t-miss event for artists, collectors, and foodies alike. Encounter a captivating getaway, providing an ideal balance of destination exploration and intellectual art-focused activities, including cocktail blending and tastings. In addition to art-inspired cuisine, event menus incorporate the “localvore” flare, utilizing homegrown ingredients from the resort’s state-of-the-art aquaponic greenhouse at The Sprouting Project.
You can choose from a few options from staying the whole weekend with the VIP package to just experiencing the Saturday evening’s main event dinner (which will be an experience all on its own!). The Main Event Package offers accommodations for one night, a seat at Saturday night’s cocktail paired dinner and art show, entrance to Sunday’s breakfast and Artist Market, as well as The Chef’s Canvas cookbook. The VIP Package offers all this plus an extra night at the hotel, Friday’s cocktail paired dinner and art show, and activities and lunch during the day on Saturday. If a date night is more your style than a weekend, you can also buy tickets just for the cocktail paired dinner and art show on Saturday night.
The VIP Package begins at $1,599 per room and the Main Event Package begins at $659 per room. Tickets to Saturday’s dinner are $150, with a discount for Cummer Museum members. The event will take place from Friday, November 11 to Sunday, November 13.
