We like to have folks on board who ‘get’ St. Augustine,” says Kerry Tustin, about hiring Flagler College graduates. Providing a full range of marketing and advertising services, Hybrid Design has worked on everything from television commercials to public relations campaigns, event planning, website design, and so much more for clients like The St. Augustine Alligator Farm, Whetstone Chocolates, and Flagler College Athletics. You’ve likely seen their billboard designs for Flagler College Athletics’ “Our town, Our team” campaign.
Established in 2002, Hybrid Design provides a wide range of advertising, design and marketing services. Tustin, who is the Founder and Creative Director of Hybrid Design Group, remarked that, “When a client needs a message communicated they come to us for ideas and we find the best solution for them.” Her favorite part of the job is “meeting with clients, talking about new projects, and brainstorming with the team — that’s when the magic of marketing kicks in.”
Tustin is very selective when bringing on new team members. “We’ve worked hard to build a team that has synergy, speed, responsiveness, and creativity,” she says. They’re self-proclaimed “detail fanatics” that strive to keep the big picture in mind.
Hybrid Design’s connection with the local community doesn’t stop with hiring. The organization is proud to work in close collaboration with a number of local non-profit organizations. They’ve been active with Big Brothers and Big Sisters, The Boys and Girls Club, and St. Augustine Rotary Club’s Rhythm and Ribs event to name a few. Most recently they produced a promotional video for St. Augustine Youth Services to strengthen a special mentoring program for underserved youth.
Hybrid Design is proud to continue to support Flagler College, their alma mater. Tustin says, having Flagler graduates working for them “brings a sensitivity to the needs of our local community.”
