Good Cuisine for a Good Cause at the 2018 St. Augustine Food & Wine Festival

First held in 2009, St. Augustine’s Food & Wine Festival has become a highly-anticipated local culinary event. The St. Augustine Independent Restaurant Association hosts the event each year to raise money for a good cause and put on a pretty fun party at the same time. The 2018 Food & Wine Festival will be held at The Riverhouse on Sunday, October 14 from 12-4pm.

Guest to the event are greeted at the door with a beautiful souvenir wine glass. Then they can roam where their taste buds lead – appetizers, main courses, salads, or desserts. This is the place where SAiRA restaurants – from Michael’s Tasting Room to Catch 27 to The Reef and plenty more – serve tasting plates of their best foods and wine from all over the world are showcased. If wine isn’t your thing, you can also enjoy local craft beer and spirits from the St. Augustine Distillery. The SAiRA Food and Wine Festival also features a silent auction where guests can win vintage wines, dining gift certificates, chef-prepared private dinners, merchandise from local shops, and much more.

Tickets to the event are $75 online and $85 at the door. All proceeds benefit the Boys & Girls Club of St. Augustine. With food selections from the city’s best local independent restaurants and more than 100 wines from around the world, this is an event you won’t want to miss.
