Limelight Theatre presents Girls’ Weekend onstage with the first performance on February 22 and running through March 17. In this lightning-quick farce by Karen Schaeffer, four women travel to Dot’s Northwoods cabin to consume copious amounts of wine, laugh at their lives, trade stories and chat about their book club’s latest selection. However, after the third case of wine comes through the door, it becomes clear there will be more stewing than reviewing. The madcap, door-slamming chaos comes to a head when Dot discovers her girls’ weekend is full of men! The cast includes Linda Mignon as Dot, Cathy O’Brien as Meg, Amy Tillotson as Carol, Sarah “Sunnie” Boggs as Ellie, Donald Jones as Stephen, Tyler Boutin as Rick, Christopher Makauskas as Bubba.
The Director is Shelli Long who is the Music Director and Props Supervisor for Limelight. Shows she has directed include Coney Island Christmas, Cotton Patch Gospel, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, Miracle on 34th Street and Forever Plaid: Plaid Tidings.
