The very popular culinary destination weekend festival, Whiskey, Wine & Wildlife (W3), which has taken place on Jekyll Island, Georgia since 2016 is now moving to Vilano Beach! This three day event, from November 4th to November 6th, will feature multiple events and raise funds and awareness for the festival Official Charity Partner, Vilano Beach Main Street, as well as GTM Research Reserve.
“We are so excited about relocating this already successfully established event to Vilano Beach,” says Jan Gourley, Festival Founder/Director. “Nearly 65% of the previous Georgia festival’s attending guests visited from Florida, which will make the Vilano Beach location very popular for Floridians and visitors throughout the southeast.”
W3 will be returning to its original all-inclusive tasting tickets for all its events, which includes unlimited tasting bites and beverages with souvenir glasses.
The event kicks off Friday with Whiskey Inspired on the Pier where guests can enjoy an unlimited variety of whiskies, wines, and beer tastings, along with a variety of appetizer stations, “Pig Pickin’ on the Pier” with whole hog barbecue, and music – all taking place overlooking the Matanzas Inlet. The main event on Saturday will be a Block Party where guests can enjoy culinary delights and hundreds of unlimited varieties of beverage tastings up and down the A1A Corridor. The afternoon will be full of live music, celebrity guest chefs, cooking demonstrations, an artisan market and wildlife demonstrations. Throughout the weekend there will be Master Classes and coastal tours, and the weekend will conclude with a Jazz Brunch at the Casa Monica.
