Volkswagen of St. Augustine is hosting its 5th annual, “Gatsby Charity Affair.” This year’s theme is “The Lost Generation.” Guests are encouraged to get dressed in their 1920s “glad rags” attire and get ready for a night of wayward fun. Two authentic 1920s classic cars and a photo booth ready for the perfect selfie will be there for your enjoyment. Live music by local performers Ramona, Mama Blue and Chelsea Saddler’s new band, Inner Alchemy, are going to set the mood for you to rollick the night away.

This year’s event will be held at the Lightner Museum around the historic pool area. It will be held on Saturday, April 28th , 2018 from 7pm to 11pm. Local actors will perform as some of the greats like Dali, Virginia Woolf, and Isadora Duncan as you stroll through various exhibits. There will be a moonshine bar, beer provided by Ancient City Brewery, and craft cocktails will be served for your drinking pleasure. There will also be a spread of light hors d’oeuvres that will be provided by Café Alcazar. We will keep the mischief rolling with another great after party this year at Corazon Cinema from 11pm to 1am. This year is all about the amazing works of “The Lost Generation,” so come be bad in the best way and travel back to 1927 – see it, hear it, feel it, be it…“Everyone behaves badly, given the chance” – Ernest Hemingway

Over the last 4 years, this event has raised over $50,000 to benefit local charities. This year, all proceeds will go to support local non-profit, The St. Johns Cultural Council. Volkswagen of St. Augustine owners, Joe & Sway DiFeo, are passionate about supporting local non-profits and are artists and musicians themselves. Since opening their doors in December of 2013, they have been able to contribute over $150,000 to local charities and continue to allocate an annual budget for community support and sponsorships.

Tickets to the event are $55 for a single ticket and $100 for a couple. Tickets can be purchased at Volkswagen of St. Augustine or by visiting the website.
