Maybe its just me, but baby animals are arguably the best! A baby dolphin is somehow even more awesome and I for one must go and see this little girl. A running contest for her name has “Coquina” as the crowd favorite, which is fitting to say the least.
I am happy to say that Marineland is back and better than ever in many ways. At today’s modern facility, the focus is on intimate, unhurried dolphin interactions, swimming with dolphins and a variety of engaging dolphin encounters. Marineland Dolphin Adventure also hosts memorable oceanside events. Birthday parties, weddings, family reunions to name a few.
On Friday September 12, guests will be able to meet Marineland’s newest dolphin, a female calf born in May, whose name will be revealed in a public ceremony.
On Saturday, September 13, Marineland Dolphin Adventure will be hosting Family Fun Day, an event full of family-friendly fun and entertainment with Marineland’s resident dolphins. Activities will include interactive games, face painting, two bounce houses, special dolphin training demonstrations, and a raffle to participate in a Dolphin Design Program. All raffle proceeds will benefit Marineland’s education scholarship fund. Capt. Don Dingman from “Hook the Future” will make a special appearance and give fishing demonstrations for kids.
Kids 12 and under are free for this event.
