St. Augustine has quickly become a culinary destination. We have food from all over the world – for breakfast, dessert, and everything in between – made by passionate and skilled hands. And in celebration of the restaurants and chefs dishing up delicious local delights (and in support of a good cause), the 22nd Annual Taste of St. Augustine is held. With more than twenty restaurants coming together to show off their creations, the event can be a lot to take in. But with our handy guide to the basics, the highlights, the race, and everything you’ll encounter, enjoying Taste of St. Augustine 2018 will be a breeze.
The Basics
The Taste of St. Augustine will be held on Sunday, April 29 from 11am to 5pm at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre. Entrance to the event is $5 per person and tasting tickets are $1 each. The restaurants will charge between one and five tickets per taste, so make sure you get enough to taste around! Free parking is available at the Amphitheatre.
The Race
Before all the delicious food kicks off, though, runners and walkers will Race to the Taste! The 5K course starts at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre and winds through Anastasia State Park. The race starts at 11am (so that runners are in the mood for food by the time the race is over!). Up until the day of the race, registration is $25. Day-of registration is $30.
