St. Augustine’s historic Lincolnville Museum & Cultural Center is playing host to A Classic Theatre’s production of “Sweet Emmaline: The Musical Journey of Debbie McDade.” The story follows the bright-eyed St. Augustine native, Debbie McDade, as she departs from her Lincolnville home to pursue a career as a jazz singer in New York City. The title role is played by popular blues singer Mama Blue and Flagler College Theatre Arts student Soranda Louis plays Amanda. The performances begin on Sunday, May 8 at 3pm and continue Monday through Thursday the 12 at 7:30pm. Tickets can be purchased online at www.aclassictheatre.org.
