Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa is hosting “A Preview of Reunion by Chef Art Smith” taking place during the week of THE PLAYERS Championship, March 9-14, 2021. Guests of this exclusive pop-up experience will be among the first to taste the culinary creations that will debut on the menu of Reunion by Chef Art Smith in Chicago later this year, all while taking in the views of the famed TPC® Sawgrass at Vernon’s First Coast Kitchen & Bar. Smith, a celebrity and award-winning chef, has cooked for some of the world’s most famous celebrities, served as the personal chef for Oprah Winfrey for nearly a decade, and has had the privilege of cooking for presidents and world dignitaries.
The four-course, prix-fixe menu will be offered for $115 per person (inclusive of taxes, fees, and gratuity). For guests dining at “A Preview of Reunion by Chef Art Smith at Sawgrass Marriott,” valet parking will be complimentary.
A Preview of Reunion by Chef Art Smith at Sawgrass Marriott will feature a four-course, prix-fixe menu with the following dishes:
• Southern Pickle Board: Buttermilk Benne Seed Cracker, Goat Pimento Cheese, House-made Pickles, Candied Pecans, Seasonal Jam, La Quercia Speck
• Shrimp & Grits: Mayport Shrimp, Bradley’s Country Milled Grits, Tomato Ragu
• Fried Green Tomato: Green Tomato Chow-Chow, Crispy Country Prosciutto, Petite Mustard Greens, Green Goddess Dressing
• Chef Art Smith’s Famous Buttermilk Fried Chicken: Goat Cheese Drop Biscuit, Roasted Garlic Whipped Potatoes, House-made Hot Sauce
• Wagyu Zabuton: Spring Onion Soubise, Son & Skye Mushrooms, Buckwheat Risotto
• Cornmeal Seed Crusted Snapper: Crispy Okra, Tomato Confit, Sweet Corn Reduction
• Smith Family 12-Layer Chocolate Cake: Passion Fruit, Whipped Crème Fraîche
• Hemp Seed Meyer Lemon Cake: Toasted Hemp Seed, Preserved Meyer Lemon, Whipped Cream Cheese Anglaise
