When you’re in the magazine business, much of your time is spent writing about other businesses – telling their story, sharing their news of success and spreading their good news. We love what we do. But, every once in a while (as in not very often at all) the tables are turned and someone shines a spotlight on what we do and the entire office rejoices in cheers! Today is that day!
Our Editor, Heather Vreeland graduated from Flagler College in 2003 with a Communications degree. She took the experience, life lessons picked up along the way and the insight she gained from internships – combined with the entrepreneurial encouragement of her husband and business partner – and turned that into Occasions Media Group in 2008. Recently, Flagler College reached out to our office to tell her story in their new TrailBlazer series where they feature Flagler Alumni who have graduated and dabbled in the art of entrepreneurship.
