As if you need another reason to visit Declaration and Co., the hip San Marco shop is unveiling a whole new way you can shop Uptown St. Augustine this month, in an extra special kind of way. Introducing Local Makers Marketplace at Declaration and Co – a pop-up shop of artisans like soap makers, furniture makers, and brewers selling their wares in a one-of-a-kind way.
For the monthly shopping event, style-like makers who’ve been vying for a coveted spot on their store shelves have been invited to showcase their products for the afternoon. Owners, Lara and Steven Kocerka explained “we are often approached by local makers to carry their product in our store, but for whatever reason – be it season, space or product category – it’s not always a good fit.” So, the duo brainstormed on a way to support fellow creative business owners and bring their regular customers something new to get excited about and the Local Makers Marketplace was born. We call that a win-win.
Each event will feature 5-7 different companies every month. Happening the last Saturday of every month from 2pm – 6pm, the Local Makers Marketplace at Declaration & Co is a pre-game for the shopping district’s regular Uptown St. Augustine’s nighttime festivities.
The first event will kick off, Saturday May 28th featuring the following companies…
