With locations all across Florida, Rogers Towers, P.A. is one of the largest law firms in the Sunshine State, with a history more than a century old. Founded in Jacksonville in 1905, Rogers Towers has grown into an expansive, multi-disciplinary firm practicing everything from business and tort litigation to intellectual property cases.
Rivaling many “big city” firms, Rogers Towers’ St. Augustine location at Whetstone Place boasts an impressive resume that’s grounded in community service with a close-knit group of attorneys at the helm.
“It allows the residents of St. Augustine to have access to one of the largest, full-service firms in Northeast Florida without having to drive to Jacksonville,” explains Richard Q. Lewis, III, a shareholder at the firm who specializes in corporate law, tax law and estate planning and probate. “Our clients appreciate having access to the knowledge and skills of all our attorneys within the entire firm.”
A longtime resident of the Nation’s Oldest City, Lewis and his wife both grew up in St. Augustine and decided to raise their daughters here for its “great school system and first class beaches.” Like many of the attorneys at Rogers Towers, Lewis spends time volunteering in the community for such causes as Habitat for Humanity and St. Johns County Legal Aid Clinic.
“Often times, with large firms, they bring in attorneys from other offices that have no connection to the community,” says Lewis. “In our St. Augustine office, all of our attorneys live in St. Augustine, are involved in the community and have significant roots in the area.”
