Pretty much everyone loves a good steak. Unless you’re vegetarian or vegan, there is nothing quite like a nice cut of beef with a little bit of seasoning and served with some potatoes and sides. But there are plenty of ways to mess up a steak. You might overcook or undercook it, cut it too soon, or you may just start things off with the wrong cut of beef. Luckily, we have some great chefs in St. Augustine that are serving many great steak dishes using a variety of different cuts of meats. From dry-aged and grilled to steak wrapped in puff pastry and baked until golden brown, here are some of the best places to enjoy delicious steaks in St. Augustine.

Amici Italian Restaurant
1915B A1A S
Amici Italian Restaurant is building on a proud tradition of Old-World Italian Cuisine and giving it a modern American twist. While you would typically visit Amici’s to get your Italian food fix, with their extensive menu of pasta, pizzas and calzones, they also offer some pretty amazing steak specials that may surprise you coming from a traditionally Italian based menu. Typically they run their steak specials Thursday thru Sunday, celebrating a different cut of meat each week. One of their specials is the classic Beef Wellington which has become so popular amongst guests that they may make it a menu staple. Chef Freddy Underhill and his team of food-loving creative chefs cut all the steaks themselves from fresh sub primal loins. They put their heart and soul into each dish and are creating plates that are a reflection of the food that they would want to eat. Follow them on facebook for their specials each week.
