If you’re a lover of high fashion and haute couture but also a lover of Mother Earth, the Love Your Mother Eco Fashion Show might just be the local event for you. Produced by Panache – an Aveda Salon, the show hosts local designers who are ready to get creative with their designs and take a step out of the traditional fashion realm. The runway outfits featured in the show are a type of “avant-garde trashions.” In the past, outfits have been made from electrical cords, used hair towels, color tubes, shipping materials, VW hub cabs, wiper blades, expired promotional materials, and more off-the-wall pieces – anything fun and recycled. There’s nothing too outrageous for this wildly entertaining show.
This year, Love Your Mother will take place on Saturday, March 31st at the Marsh Landing Country Club. The doors will open at 5:30pm for VIP ticket holders and 6pm for general admission. The show will begin at 7pm. Tickets are $55 for general seating and $250 for the VIP Reception and Reserved Seating. Proceeds from the 2018 show will benefit The Cultural Center at Ponte Vedra Beach.
