The Apex Theatre Studio will present Pinkalicious: The Musical on Saturdays during the month of June at their studio, located at 5150 Palm Valley Road (Unit 205) in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. Performances are scheduled for June 2nd, 9th, 16th, and 23rd at 11am.
In Pinkalicious: The Musical, Pinkalicious cannot stop eating pink cupcakes despite her parents warning her. After eating too many, she is diagnosed by a doctor with “Pinkititis,” an illness that turns her completely pink. She doesn’t seem to mind, because it is her favorite color. But when it goes too far, she must figure out a way to stop it.
“We wanted to start the summer with something funny, sweet, and pink!” exclaimed the show’s director, David Loudermilk. “Since its first publication in 2006, the book has had an extremely popular following. At its heart is a message of acceptance, the importance of family, and moderation when it comes to eating sweets.”
The show features a cast of twelve young performers under the direction of David Loudermilk and musical director, Brad Betros. The running time for the show is 50 minutes. Audience members are encouraged to wear their favorite pink outfit.
For young artists between the ages of 8-14 The Apex Theatre Studio Inc. (501C3) is the premiere training facility in Northeast Florida which provides challenging and enriching programs specifically for the intermediate to advanced level theatre student through stimulating interactions with an expert faculty, a range of programming, and a commitment to excellence.
