8 Spots Near St. Augustine to Go Blueberry Pickin’

The season is here, so grab a basket and your sunhat. The fruit doesn't get any fresher than this.

May 17, 2018 | Molly Wilson

One of my fondest childhood memories is strapping on my overalls, grabbing my mom’s giant sunhat, and running to the backyard to pick blueberries. At the start of the summer, our rows and rows of bushes would be laden with the bright berries, warmed by the Florida sun and ready to be baked into pies, sprinkled on salads, and eaten by the handful. And now, having moved away from that house, I still have a longing to pick blueberries right off the bush. Luckily, there are plenty of places around these parts where you can do just that. So we’ve rounded up eight pick-your-own farms where the blueberries are abundant just a short drive away.
