6 St. Augustine Cocktails to Get You in the Mood for Fall

catch 27 st.augustine

While the fall season in Florida may not always very different from summer, that doesn’t stop us from breaking out the seasonal flavors! The palm trees may not be shedding their leaves, but fall has very much arrived, and since we can’t bundle up in cozy scarves and flannels quite yet, we’ve got to look for other ways to celebrate. Luckily for us, plenty of local restaurants and bars know that no matter the temperature, seasonal celebrations are still a necessity. Local cocktail flavors are taking a turn from tropical fruits to comforting notes – from sweet creme brûlée martinis to Earl Gray concoctions, it’s time to raise a glass.

St. Somewhere
Sunset Grille
There’s just something about the fresh tartness of cranberry that so easily reminds of a crisp fall day, and when you’re looking for that flavor, this is the drink for you! Made with St. Augustine’s finest, this drink is a combination of vodka, St. Germain Elderflower, and topped with a splash of cranberry and sour. The perfect fall pick-me-up to help you easily transition through the seasons, even if it’s still ninety degrees outside…(sigh).

Spiked Hot Fudge Brownie Milkshake
Prohibition Kitchen
Since fall in Florida is hardly chilly, we might as well make the most of it by enjoying a boozy frozen drink, and that’s where PK’s spiked milkshakes come in handy. We all know this season was made for enjoying sweet treats by a bonfire, so why not enjoy a nice spiked milkshake in the Florida heat instead? This drink may not be your classic cocktail, but between the sweet chocolate and smooth bourbon, you’ll satisfy your sweet tooth and your seasonal cravings all in one!
