Thanksgiving weekend will be playing host to yet another fantastic St. Augustine art event. The 51st Annual St. Augustine Arts & Crafts Festival, presented by the St. Augustine Art Association, will take place Saturday, November 26 and Sunday, November 27 at Francis Field.
More than 150 fine artists from around the region and across the country will gather and exhibit original paintings, handmade pottery, jewelry, sculpture, woodworks, glass, photography, fiber arts and other fine crafts.
Guests will enjoy two days of delicious food and beverages, a Kids Art Zone, Colonial Craft Corner, a Florida Museum of Natural History station, entertainment from the Gamble Rogers Festival performers, and artist demonstrations and talks. And who could forget the utterly magical citywide lights?
“We hope everyone will join us Thanksgiving weekend at the Festival,” says Diane Bradley, Festival Manager. “This event has been a hallmark of our City’s cultural life for decades. It’s two days of fine art and family fun for a great cause.”
With a $1 gate donation, festival visitors receive a prize drawing ticket for area attractions, restaurants, and specialty gifts. Proceeds sustain the Art Association’s operations, education, exhibition, and outreach programs for the local community.
