There always seems to be a lot of pressure to do something exciting and fun for New Year’s Eve. And we get it – we all want to start off another year with a festive bang. New Year’s Eve Gala | Flagler College
One of the city’s classiest shindigs, the Flagler College New Year’s Eve Gala will begin with a cocktail hour in the Rotunda followed by a seated dinner and desserts. A live band will play throughout the evening before a champagne toast and balloon drop at midnight. This year, a portion of ticket sales will go toward the Dr. William T. Abare and Susan J. Abare scholarship fund. Tickets are $250 and attire is black tie.
Beach Blast Off | St. Augustine Beach Pier
Family friendly and oodles of fun, Beach Blast Off is the quintessential New Year’s Eve experience. The event will feature a Kid Zone, carnival rides, face-painting, delicious food and drink, an area with non-stop sports, and live entertainment going all night. The event is free and open to the public and free shuttles are available from designated parking areas. The evening begins at 4pm and ends at 10pm. A fireworks display will begin at 8:30pm.
New Year’s Eve Dinner | Ice Plant Bar
Head over to the Oldest City’s best speakeasy for a celebration that’s sure to be the bee’s knees. Get dressed in your spiffiest, sip on some delectable (and much loved) specialty cocktails, and sit down to the restaurant’s prix fixe 3-course meal before a spectacular 2000 balloon drop at midnight. The first seating will be at 5pm, the second at 7pm, the third at 10pm. Tickets for dinner are $75.
Goldfinger | Corazon Cinema and Cafe
All the glitz and glamour of 007 without the price tag. Sport your James Bond or Bond girl best and take your martini shaken…not stirred. Sit in the comfortable lounge of Corazon Cinema and Cafe and bask in the classic Bond music while noshing on the speciality roast beef and barbecue sandwich (or the menu item of your choice). And to top it all off, you get to enjoy one of the series’ best films, Goldfinger. The event begins at 8pm. Tickets are only $15 per person.
