For 23 years, St. Augustine has hosted a celebration of the life of recording artist Gamble Rogers, who died trying to save a drowning swimmer in 1991. His legacy lives on in the dozens of musical performers who gather every year for three days in the Colonial Quarter to sing, strum, and play their hearts out for the listening public. Now we’re here to help you get the most out of the 2018 Gamble Rogers Music Festival – when, where, tickets, and all the music you could want, all in one place.
THE BASICS
The Gamble Rogers Music Festival will take place Friday, May 4 – Sunday, May 6 at the Colonial Quarter in downtown St. Augustine. You can get a three-day pass for $30, a ticket for Friday or Saturday for $20, and a ticket for Sunday only for $10.

I REMEMBER GAMBLE CONTEST
On Sunday at 3pm, the festival will hold an “I Remember Gamble” contest. Artists will mount the stage to perform songs either written or performed by Gamble Rogers or songs written about Gamble Rogers. No pre-registration is required – just show up! The contest is free to enter, but you must have a festival ticket. First prize is $500, second prize is $250, third prize is $100.
