Call it an early halloween party for adults or the best reason you’ve had all year to put on a ball gown – this weekend is The Junior Service League of St. Augustine’s Annual Gala: Masquerade at the Lightner and it’s an event you definitely want to attend. Masquerade costume is not required but highly encouraged!
The party starts at 6pm on Saturday, October 17th at the Lightner Museum. Tickets are $137 per person and include an elegant evening of cocktails, live auction, dinner, dancing and live entertainment.
The gala is more than just fun. It serves as the league’s annual fundraiser which supports their community projects throughout the coming year so its nice to know your money is going to support good causes. The St. Augustine Junior Service League is a not-for-profit organization of local women committed to promoting volunteer participation in community affairs within St. Johns County. Through the dedication of their members, along with the generous support of the community, the League has supported many community programs, both financially and emotionally, with great pride for over 70 years.
