People of St. Augustine, mark your calendars! The 20th annual Rhythm & Ribs Festival is April 10th, 11th and 12th. What started as a small barbecue festival in 1995 has grown into a regionally recognized music and food festival that attracts over 35,000 music lovers and barbecue aficionados from all over the Southeast. And all happens right here in St. Augustine at Francis Field.
The event is produced by the St. Augustine Sunrise Rotary Club and includes barbecue vendors, a BBQ competition, live music, arts and crafts vendors and a kids zone including rides and games.
All net proceeds are donated to national charities and local St. Augustine organizations like the Alpha Omega Miracle Home, Betty Griffin House, St. Francis House and many more listed here.
Adult tickets are $5 per person and children under 13 are free. Entry is free for active military with id. You’ll want a seat to watch the performers so make sure you bring chairs and blankets, but please don’t bring any coolers and pets.
