The fog didn’t keep the crowds from coming out to enjoy the 60th annual St. Augustine Christmas parade on December 6, 2014. From Daisy troops to Rotary Clubs, local organizations of all kinds came with floats decorated for the holiday season. Newly elected City of St. Augustine Mayor, Nancy Shaver waved to residents from a horse-drawn carriage while the local St. Augustine High School Band marched in formation.
Attendees were some of the very first people to receive a copy of St. Augustine Social as they were passed out along the parade route. The annual parade attracts more than 10,000 locals each year. Local businesses are encourage to enter the parade each year.
