1. Sailing Camp
Dream of sailing the seven seas? Then set sail at the SPARS Community Sailing Kids Camp for sailors ages 9-15. Sailing fundamentals, basic meteorology, knots, and maritime etiquette are taught by US Sailing Certified Instructors. Seven sessions of four-day camps are offered from June 6-July 29. $225.

2. Ancient City Explorers Summer Day Camp
From shipwrecks to archaeology to maritime navigation, campers experience all this during the history-themed camps at St. Augustine Lighthouse & Maritime Museum.
From May 31 through July 1, each session has a different theme. Camps run from 9-1, with an extended day option, too. For completed K-5th graders. $125.

3. Pirate Camp
Arrrg! Kids learn the real history of pirates in St. Augustine while playing pirate-themed games and activities at the St. Augustine Pirate & Treasure Museum and Colonial Quarter Summer Camp. Archaeology Summer Camp also available.

4. Flagler College Camps: Sports and More
These camps, hosted by Flagler College, are a slam dunk for sporty dreamers and doers. Basketball, softball, volleyball, and tennis for all ages and levels are offered in multi or single day camps. Other camps include Writing Camp for ages 6-14 and Summer Seminar for rising 11th and 12th graders. Dates and prices vary.

5. Zoo Camp
Alligators and crocodiles and birds – oh my! Become a junior zoo keeper of exotic creatures at the St. Augustine Alligator Farm and Zoological Park. Half-day weekly themed camps feature crafts, games, animal shows, zoo treks and keeper talks. For children entering 1st through 6th grades; June 6 through Aug. 5. $150.

6. Surfing Camp
‘Let’s go surfing now, everybody’s learning how…’ at the Surf Station Surf Camps. Weekly co-ed camps are offered from May 30 through mid-August at either Anastasia State Park or Crescent Beach. All-Girls Camps are also available in two sessions each in June and July. Former pro-surfers and CPR certified surf instructors teach young surfer dudes and surfer girls cool lessons on how to shred and proper surfing etiquette. Surfboard rental included. $150.

7. Marineland Dolphin Adventures Camps
Who doesn’t dream of hanging out with the happiest ‘fish’ in the sea – dolphins! A variety of Marineland summer camps offer this rare opportunity. For kids ages 7-12, the Seaside Eco-Adventures Camp offers dolphin encounters, as well as lessons in conservation, animal behavior and the intracoastal hammock ecosystem. Sessions run from June 8-Aug. 13. $499. For environmentally-minded teens ages 13-17, the Teaching Environment Education in Nature Summer camp offers kayaking, lab experiments, and conservation work are dolphin-time. $499.

8. Golf Camp
Young golfers can take a swing at the First Tee North Florida golf camps. Full and half- day Summer camps are available at the St. Johns Golf Club and Palm Valley Golf Club. They put the fun in fundamentals while encouraging those Jordan Spieth-wanna-be dreams.

9. Art Camps
Creative dreamers in grades 1-6 can express their artsy side during five sessions of the St. Augustine Art Association Summer Day Camps. From June 6 through July 1st, half-day camps let young artists explore mixed-media, painting, drawing, and sculpting. 10. Kids Cooking Camp
Delicious dreams come true for future chefs at the First Coast Technical College Cooking Summer Camp. Led by Chef Sherry Gaynor, campers will prepare meals while learning their way around the kitchen. For ages 8-12, three sessions in June are available and one June session for 11-17 year olds. $255.

11. Mars Makers Camp
For those who dream of rocketing to Mars, this Summer camp, brought to you by Tag! Children’s Museum of St. Augustine is just the ticket. Two sessions – one for kids 8-12 and one for ages 4-7 – will explore all things red-planet related. Older kids will discover robotics and spacecraft design, while the younger set works on aerospace vehicles and puppets. $75.

12. KidzfACTory Musical and Acting Camps
Drama Queens and Kings unite! The Limelight Theatre’s KidzfACTory summer camps offer young actors and singers the opportunity to act out their dramatic dreams. Summer camps are available for kindergarten through high schoolers in one, two or four-week camps. All final performances will be at the Matuza Main Stage at the Limelight Theater.
Musical Camps – (One Week)
Kindergarten through 2nd graders can star in Charlotte’s Web in June or The Wizard of Oz or the Lorax in July, in morning one-week camps. For 3rd-6th graders, the Puppet Theater Camps lets campers create the puppets for the performance. Camps also include crafts, improvisation and theater games. $150.
Musical Theatre Madness – (Two Week Camps)
Two week Summer camps center on singing, dancing and acting for 3rd-6th graders in July. Seventh to 12th graders can attend Musical Theatre Audition Boot Camp, designed to give confidence in cold readings, monologues and more. $300.
Musical Camps—(Four Weeks)
For actors in seventh grade and up, the four-week musical Summer camps from June 20-July 15 concentrate on the production of Emma: A Pop Musical. Younger thespians, 3rd through 6th graders, will shine on stage in the musical Jump ‘N Jive Juliet musical, June 13 to July 18. $425. An afternoon props and costumes camp is also available. $300.
