Start your year off right with a little fresh air and a celebration of the beautiful nature of St. Johns County! On Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 11am, St. Johns County Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting a community bike ride to celebrate the ribbon cutting of the Cora C. Harrison Trailhead.
The Cora C. Harrison Trailhead is located on the Palatka-to-St. Augustine State Trail, a multi-use recreational trail along a corridor that stretches through St. Johns and Putnam Counties. The community bike ride will begin at 11am at Armstrong Park, 4950 Harvey Avenue in Elkton, and conclude at the Cora C. Harrison Trailhead, 8989 SR 207 in Hastings, where the ribbon cutting will take place at 12pm. Local food vendors will be available to purchase lunch while participants relax and listen to music immediately following the ribbon cutting. This event is free and open to all ages. Registration is open until the day of the ride.
