St. Augustine resident William McRea, performing as pirate Captain William Mayhem, has entertained audiences around the world with his unique blend of comedy and magic. When not “at sea”, he is a popular character at attractions and events here at home in northeast Florida.

Now, beginning February 15, the Captain will present the Pirate Magic Dinner Show, a family-friendly production that marks St. Augustine’s entry into the popular food and fun dining category.

“Evening entertainment in St. Augustine is largely dining and bar-hopping, so it seemed to us it was time to add something new’ says McRae/Mayhem. ‘Packaging the show with a meal component taps into one of the most popular formats in destination entertainment and is a natural addition to our area’s rapid tourism growth.”

The Pirate Magic Dinner Show will be held every Friday starting on February 15 at Ocean Avenue Sports Bar (formerly the Mardi Gras Sports Bar) at 123 San Marco Avenue just north of the Mission in the growing uptown side of St. Augustine. Free parking is available on-site.

Admission, including dinner and the show, is $38 for adults and $19 for kids aged 5-11. Children under age 5 are admitted free. A full selection of adult beverages is available separately. Doors open for dinner at 6pm, and the show starts at 7pm.

Seating is limited at this intimate show, so reservations are recommended by calling 800-329-3283. Learn more about the show by visiting www.thepiratemagicshow.com.
