The St. Augustine Tonight Show, hosted by resident journalist Jorge Rivera, will debut its fourth season on Tuesday, January 7 at a new location, the Corazon Cinema and Cafe, in the heart of downtown St. Augustine. The shows will be taped and streamed live before a live audience at 7pm, on Tuesdays from January 7-March 31, 2020. Guests for the first show include Hall of Fame race car driver Hurley Haywood, racing enthusiast and CEO Lynn Kehoe, Florida House District 17 Representative Cyndi Stevenson and Venardos Circus Ringmaster Kevin Venardos. The band for the opening show will be Aki Uwanda & Friends.
Season-long memberships, a new feature this season, are being sold for $125. The membership allows for early entry, seating and discounted dining and drink functions prior to the show. This week’s menu includes Garden Salad, Lemon Artichoke Chicken Breast and Roasted Red Potatoes. The specialty cocktail is the “The Mule,” provided by the St. Augustine Distillery along with other liquor products.
Another feature of the new season for St. Augustine Tonight is that organizers are looking for sponsors for the entire season and for individual shows throughout the schedule. For information on sponsorships, contact Jorge Rivera at infostaugustineshow@gmail.com)
FirstCoast.TV is the “unofficial Web station of the First Coast,” created by Rivera. Rivera launched the show in April 2017 with 13 one-hour webcasts per season and 118 on-air guests for 39 shows in the first three seasons, shining the light on local artists, chefs, musicians, entrepreneurs, actors, philanthropists, clergy, authors and comedians via a Youtube channel.
