So be sure to bring your appetite and head over before all the crab cakes are gone.
THE BASICS
The Blue Crab Festival will take place over Memorial Day weekend in downtown Palatka, and admission is free. The weekend will kick off on Friday, May 24th at 6 pm and run until midnight. The festival will continue both Saturday, May 25th and Sunday, May 26th from 10 am until midnight. The event will offer guests the chance to shop from local vendors, enjoy delicious food, and live music.

FOOD AND DRINK
Plenty of food trucks will be available for you to eat all day as well as fresh seafood, including shrimp, scallops, and of course, blue crab! Beer and wine will also be available throughout the weekend.
THINGS TO DO
Walk around and shop the local vendors, listen to the live music performances, hop on the Ferris wheel, pet a pony, get your face painted, and much more! You’ll be able to browse over 100 artisans from St. Augustine and Northeast Florida. Vendor stands will include toys, furniture, paintings, pottery, stained glass, clothes, quilts, jewelry, purses, and more. The festival will also have a ski show, fireworks, and live music from Big Engine, Honey Hounds, and Blackbird Morning for you to enjoy throughout the weekend.

FOR THE KIDS
Carnival rides will feature a Ferris wheel, tilt-a-whirl, merry-go-round, bumper cars, a giant slide, funhouse, train, and more. Children will also be able to enjoy a kids zone, which includes inflatables, children’s rides, pony rides, face painting, and a petting zoo.
