Mark Your Calendar: Rock n Roll Bash Presented by Bozard Ford Lincoln Saturday, May 28, 2016

Get ready for some summer lovin’ because Bozard Ford Lincoln is hopelessly devoted to hosting another awesome party at the 6th Annual Rock & Roll Bash! Join the fun on May 28 from 6:30-11:30pm to support The Boys & Girls Club of St. Augustine. For this year’s theme, Grease is the word! Partygoers are invited to dress as their favorite Greaser, Pink Lady, 50s Rydell High student, or just come as the cool cat they already are! Music will be provided by the super-cool rockabilly band “Go Get Gone” and dinner will be served up by Michael’s Tasting Room. Letti Bozard from Bozard Ford says the high-energy annual event promises to live up to its reputation for being the “party of the year!” The festivities will include silent and live auctions as well as specialty themed drinks and lots of other fun surprises.

The annual Rock & Roll Bash is the biggest of the five major annual fundraisers for the Boys & Girls Club of St. Augustine, raising over $60,000 for the local branch in each of the past two years. While the St. Augustine branch is affiliated regionally with the Boys & Girls Club of Northeast Florida and nationally with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, the local branch is entirely responsible for its own fundraising. 100% of proceeds from the Rock & Roll bash go to the local club.

Jennifer Tesori, Youth Advocate and Community Liaison for the club, says, “Our partnership with Bozard Ford Lincoln has been a game changer for us. Through the Rock & Roll Bash and other endeavors, their charitable contributions to us total over $250,000 since 2013. They are one of our largest supporters and are making a huge dent in our $307,000 annual budget. The generosity of Bozard and event attendees have allowed us to create a whole new program area and elevate daily attendance. This means we can serve over 25 more kids and shape their future.”

The Boys & Girls Club of St. Augustine provides St. Johns County youth, ages 5-18, with high-impact, affordable after-school and summer camp programs and caring adult mentors to keep them on the path to a great future. The club emphasizes academic success, healthy lifestyles, good character and citizenship. The club’s programs are data-driven and evidence-based. The monthly cost to attend is only $10 so the club can be accessible to all St. Johns County youth.
