Luckily, our city is full of ways to help you enjoy the long weekend with friends, family, and maybe even a little bit of vitamin D. Whether its just a reason for you to sleep in a little longer, explore the outdoors, or throw a party, we’ve got plenty of things for you to do that will be sure to keep you busy. Head to Anastasia State Park for their Labor Day weekend activities
If you’re trying to spend time outdoors this long weekend but aren’t sure where to start, chances are Anastasia State Park has something for you. With plenty of Labor Day activities for you to enjoy, you’ll be sure to keep you and your party entertained all day long. With so many springs nearby, your options for a day trip or weekend getaway are endless. Pack up the car and head out! Head over to Juniper Springs, Ginnie Springs, Rainbow Springs, or one of the many options to choose from and spend your long weekend floating down a river or exploring the crystal blue waters. You can camp all weekend long or just enjoy the day, either way you’ll be satisfied.
Learn how to paddle board
A nice long weekend is the perfect time to try a new activity, and with warm weather and plenty of outdoor activities, why not take this opportunity and learn how to paddle board? Anastasia Watersports is hosting a paddle board lesson for beginners this Labor Day weekend so take advantage! This guided paddle lesson will include instruction, guidance, and tips on how to paddle board. You’ll then be given the chance to paddle down the beautiful Salt Run.
